Biografie

Shrey Kapoor has been a senior postdoctoral researcher (Oberassistent) in Modern South Asian Studies at the Institute of Asian and Oriental Studies since 2025. He completed his PhD in Development Sociology at Cornell University.

His research focuses on urban dispossession and segregation, theories of violence, Hindu nationalism and authoritarianism, and transnational repression.
