Nikita Dhawan is a Junior Professor for Gender and Postcolonial Studies, Cluster of Excellence «Formation of Normative Orders», Goethe-University Frankfurt. Recent publications are Impossible Speech: On the Politics of Silence and Violence (2007), and “Postkoloniale Theorie. Eine kritische Einführung” (2005, jointly with María do Mar Castro Varela).
