Description

The two-days conference will focus on reviewing the progress in the development of civil society in Taiwan and Hong Kong, its achievements and shortfalls, as well as directions for future development, including the prospect of Taiwanese and Hong Kong civil society reaching out to Mainland China. As an interdisciplinary forum it aims at generating robust and wide-ranging discussion among experts and informed individuals.

As part of the international conference, a panel discussion on “Zivilgesellschaft in Taiwan und Hongkong: Interaktionen mit der Volksrepublik China” will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015, 17:00–18:00.
