The conference aims at bridging current academic and societal debates on gender and diversity. With a focus on exchanging knowledge, the conference fosters a dialogue between various understandings of difference, inequality, discrimination and inclusion regarding gender and diversity. The event is designed as a forum of exchange between representatives of universities and non-academic fields, such as politics, business, education, media, arts and will be held in three languages (German, French and English).

In the panel "Smooth and Stumbling - Knowledge sharing on transcultural gender and diversity studies: Olten/Zurich - Fez - Cairo", PRO GED partners reflect jointly on challenges and prospects from our work on transculturality, gender studies in different academic and activist contexts and modes of knowledge sharing.
